Why to have a Bridal Brunch

A bridal luncheon is part of the pre-wedding celebrations that sometimes gets overlooked! It should be an intimate event that celebrates your engagement season and kicks off your wedding planning. It’s a daytime celebration for brides to get together with their bridal party, including bridesmaids and flower girls. It can be a way to say thank you, and maybe even hand out gifts as a sign of appreciation for all their help.

You can do so much with a bridal luncheon: it could be a brunch like the photos here, it could be an afternoon tea, or even a trip to the salon. It doesn’t need to be an event that’s over the top either! It can be a simple occasion, hosted by the bride herself or maybe even the mother of the bride or maid of honor.

For this shoot, we wanted to focus on the intimacy of the event and included a fun charcuterie board that could be shared with a small group. But to add a special element today, we included a mobile coffee bar to level up the beverages for this bridal brunch.

Include a Coffee Truck

If your bridal party is full of coffee-lovers, including a coffee bar can add a unique element that everyone will enjoy. Coffee bars are something that currently trending and have become very sought-after for events, as dry celebrations are on the rise.

They add a unique and inclusive element that can cater to each person’s specific preferences, which is a great way to improve your guests’ experience! They add a cozy and inviting feel to any event, and for those who don’t indulge in alcoholic beverages, this is an exciting alternative.

Coffee bars truly become a focal point of any event, adding a level of sophistication and something that your guests will always remember. So if you want to include more versatile and trendy beverage options for your bridal brunch, consider including a coffee truck!

To highlight the coffee even further in this styled shoot, we added a coffee garnish board that included mint, coffee beans, chocolate shavings, mini donuts, and cannolis. If you are including a coffee bar for your bridal brunch, there’s so much you can add to the day to go along with the theme!

Add in colorful florals and balloons

Add in more sophistication and elegance with some colorful florals and stunning balloon garlands. The colors from both of these add so much to the overall atmosphere of the day, and also results in very beautiful photos!

This balloon garland was made by Parties and Petals, and the flowers were done by Garden Haus.

The location can be simple

All of your pre-wedding celebrations can add up in expenses, and the idea of another added expense can be overwhelming. But your bridal luncheon doesn’t need to be a big celebration hosted at a pricey location. It can be kept simple, like we did for this styled shoot, and hosted at a private residence. It also added on an element of comfort having it in a place that is casual and familiar.

Your event can still be absolutely stunning without having to host it at an exclusive location!
