The Hunter Museum of American Art is a breath-taking museum here in Chattanooga, and was the perfect spot to show how beautiful an art gallery elopement can be!

The Hunter Museum of American Art is located in the heart of Chattanooga, and sits on a 50-foot rock face that overlooks the stunning Tennessee River. They offer multiple different venue spaces, and from these you can see the iconic Veteran’s Bridge, the historic Walnut Street Bridge, and the rolling hills of North Shore.
This is a perfect space for an event, whether it’s an elopement or more of a wedding event, they are equipped to make a very memorable day for you! Your guests can enjoy the most stunning views, but also all the incredible beauty inside the museum as well. There are many different opportunities for photos around the museum, which is important for an art museum elopement!

The great thing about Hunter Museum of American Art is that it is right in the heart of Chattanooga, near all the other iconic and beautiful locations well-known in this area! Especially if you are wanting those city vibes for your elopement, then you should also incorporate some of the other iconic locations in the city.
You can see the Veteran’s Bridge in the background of some of these photos, which is a very popular spot for photos here in Chattanooga. You can also see directly below is the Edwin, which is a luxury hotel and part art museum as well. Including some of the other surrounding locations is a fun way to branch out for your event and have some more options for photos.
Have flowers as “art displays” on pedestals
Flowers should absolutely be a part of your elopement, but why not treat them as another art display? Putting arrangements on pedestals gives you a way to show off stunning florals, and really fit the overall theme of your art gallery elopement.
