Timeless + Elegant Wedding

If you’re looking to design your wedding at Blackberry Ridge that’s luxurious, chic, and timeless, a classic wedding theme inspired by Ralph Lauren’s timeless elegance is the way to go. This design is heavily influenced by Ralph Lauren’s classic style and luxurious touches, reflected in the rich, deep color palette of deep red, olive, and dusty blue, paired with sophisticated decor choices.

Include natural textures into your table settings, with rattan chargers and while linens, and add in custom menus with a delicate font to add that touch of elegance. To go alone with the timeless vibe, consider a vintage black car that will not only make your day feel more upscale, but it will also be the perfect photo opportunity for you and your partner.

Draw attention to your florals using a mix of lush greenery and deep red flowers that you can incorporate into the centerpieces, the bride’s bouquet, and any other elements needing a touch of florals. This will add to the romantic and rich color scheme.

Add to the elegant and inviting atmosphere by including cozy lounge areas that feature comfortable seating and beautiful decor. This will give your guests the opportunity to just relax and enjoy the surroundings. This timeless and elegant wedding theme ensures that your special day will remain relevant for years to come.

Common House

Originally constructed in 1929 as a YMCA, Common House stands as a testament to timeless architecture and preserved beauty. Upon entering, guests are enveloped in a sense of warmth and history, with the building’s integrity lovingly maintained over the decades.

You can choose an outdoor ceremony in the Garden, which can accommodate up to 250 guests. Here they’ve added a tent just outside the bar, perfect for serving your guests through its open window during cocktail hour. The Ruby Hall, once a gymnasium, is the reception space that features custom-made tables that are wonderfully unique and beautiful.

Common House also includes the Pennybacker Room for more intimate ceremonies, the terrace that is a cozy space for rehearsal dinners, as well as a Bridal Suite.

This venue is exactly what you’re looking for if you want a touch of historical charm, blended with a modern and minimalist vibe.

What’s Included at Common House

  • In-house catering
  • Sommelier-curated wines
  • Modern furniture
  • Full bar services

Modern + Bold Wedding

Drawing inspiration from modern art and a vibrant vintage feel, this wedding theme is a celebration of color, creativity, and fun. Common House, with its eclectic charm and versatile spaces, is the perfect setting for a modern funk art wedding. The venue’s unique character provides an excellent backdrop for a playful and artistic design.

This theme was inspired by contemporary art, characterized by bold colors and unconventional forms, while also nodding to the playful, eclectic feel of the ’70s. The result was a vibrant, joyous aesthetic that perfectly suits a couple with a fun-loving spirit. The color palette should include bold pinks and corals, which can be used in floral arrangements and decor to create a lively atmosphere. Sunny yellows add warmth and energy, and fresh greens and teals add a refreshing contrast that can tie in the natural elements of the venue.

Colorful and custom signage with fun fonts and playful designs is a must to add a whimsical touch. You could make each table unique with eclectic dishware, vibrant and colorful florals, and truly unique decor pieces. All of the textures and colors can blend to create the most eye-catching setting.

The florals should again be a main focal point of the day, with a mix of bold blooms, as well as unexpected accents, such as tulle or disco balls. You can also make a statement with your cake and choose a pattern that features color and unique design elements to really complement the overall theme.

Creating a fun setting like this one for your wedding day will ensure your guests will never forget it!

The Glass House

The Glass House is actually about 90 minutes outside of downtown Chattanooga, and it’s absolutely worth that drive! As soon as it comes into view, you’re struck by the beauty of the all-white exterior and interior, filled with floor-to-ceiling windows that create a dreamy setting.

Included in your rental are essential decor elements, white wooden tables, white chiavari chairs, and a selection of wooden cross-back chairs, making sure you have everything you need for a stunning day.

The outdoor pavilion is the ideal spot to entertain your guests, that includes a versatile food truck endless possibilities, cocktail tables, and games to keep your guests having the best time.

Warm + Earthy Wedding

Embracing earthy tones and organic elements is the perfect way to merge the natural elegance of the Glass House with the venue’s pristine, modern setting. With a venue that has such sleek and contemporary architecture, it’s best to create an organic atmosphere that harmonizes with the venue’s clean lines.

Inspired by nature, the design palette focuses on earthy tones and organic textures. Warm browns and tans provide a neutral foundation that exudes both tranquility and sophistication. Soft greens infuse freshness and vibrancy, while muted blush and beige hues add warmth and depth to the overall aesthetic.

Florals are central to the theme, blending dried and fresh flowers to create textured, colorful arrangements that echo the natural surroundings. From rustic ceramics to wooden furniture and woven textiles, each element contributes to the cohesive, earthy ambiance.

Create a ceremony space that encourages intimacy with a floral arch, covered in a mix of dried and fresh blooms, making it the most stunning backdrop for exchanging vows. This aesthetic celebrates the beauty of nature and creates a warm and romantic atmosphere.

Parkside Hall

Parkside Hall is a beautiful, versatile venue that gives you a subtle West Coast vibe with it’s modern and minimal aesthetic. It is located in downtown Chattanooga, across from the picturesque Sculpture Fields at Montague Park. It’s a convenient spot if you want to stay in the downtown area!

For outdoor ceremonies, the covered patio is an ideal location with the beautiful fireplace as a focal point, and is even more stunning with candelight. There is also an open-air courtyard to be used for cocktail hour, and an indoor reception area with the same minimalist vibe.

Parkside Hall can comfortably accommodate between 150-175 guests, perfect for more intimate or larger weddings. This venue also offers rental options, so if you choose a smaller gathering, you have the opportunity to do a half-space rental that includes the lobby and open-air patio.

Parkside Hall’s minimalist yet versatile architecture and comprehensive amenities cater to a range of event needs, promising a memorable experience for all attendees.

What’s Included at Parkside Hall:

  • Tables and chairs, including 25 60” round top tables, 10 36” cocktail tables, and 10 6’ x 30” rectangular tables, paired with 220 white bentwood chairs.
  • Four mobile greenery walls and two bar tops, adding a touch of greenery and functionality to enhance any event decor.

Minimalist and Neutral Wedding

Parkside Hall epitomizes modern minimalism with its clean lines, neutral hues, and contemporary architecture, offering an ideal backdrop for a refined and elegant wedding. The venue’s spacious interiors and abundant natural light create a serene and sophisticated atmosphere, perfectly suited to our vision of understated luxury.

Drawing inspiration from the minimalist aesthetic prominent in West Coast design, this aesthetic highlights simplicity, natural materials, and a sense of openness throughout every aspect of the wedding design.

The color palette revolves around timeless neutrals. Crisp whites form the foundation, which give off the polished and tranquil ambiance. The soft beige and taupe complement the white with warm tones that add coziness and work perfectly with the venue’s modern aesthetic.

For the ceremony, wooden benches make the perfect minimalist seating, and clusters of white flowers add in that simple, natural beauty. Embrace minimal elegance in the reception by incorporating white linens, subtle beige accents, and simplistic tableware. Include sleek floral arrangements, as well as personalized menus to add charm to the minimalist decor.

As far as florals go, they enhance the overall vibe while still matching the muted tones and clean lines. Consider using white roses, dahlias, orchids, and hydrangeas that all work so beautifully together. To go along with the florals and add texture, you could include textured table runners, wooden accents, and linen napkins as well.

Minimalist and neutral doesn’t have to be boring. It can be truly breathtaking and create the most magical setting for a wedding.
